Who are we?

Region-2 RTAC is vital to Northeast Georgia’s trauma system, working hard to ensure top-notch care for our communities. Trauma care isn’t exactly what you’d call “fun.” It’s tough work that takes the toughest people, but we know the value of balancing the hard stuff with a little levity.

We aim to develop and maintain the region’s trauma system plan while fostering compliance and continuous improvement. We’re a collaborative group of EMS agencies, clinicians, hospital personnel, local governments, and community members dedicated to improving trauma care.

We craft data-driven injury-prevention programs and evaluate regional training needs, always focusing on what will make the most impact in the field. Through mutual aid agreements and collaborative activities, we work to ensure seamless coverage across the region.
